At the beginning of Pride Month 2024, Vince Tripi founded Expanding Horizons, a social-purpose business that offers traveling exhibits, talks, and curricula designed to celebrate diversity and foster pride in LGBTQ+ heritage. Vince is a passionate advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, dedicated to preserving its history and promoting a sense of belonging. His notable achievements include being named Advocate of the Year by the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce, a top 25 Emerging Training Leader by Training magazine, and receiving the Distinguished Service Award from UW–Milwaukee's LGBT Resource Center. He serves on the board of directors of Milwaukee Pride, Inc.

Vince is a passionate advocate for the LGBT+ community, dedicated to sharing its rich history and fostering a sense of belonging. His journey to Expanding Horizons began with a powerful lesson: learning shapes identity and empowers individuals.

Previously recognized as a Top 25 Emerging Training Leader, Vince translates his passion for meaningful learning into engaging presentations and exhibits for a variety of audiences. He continues to leverage his instructional design expertise to craft exhibits that spark curiosity, celebrate diversity, and inspire pride in LGBT+ heritage.

Fueled by a belief in inclusivity, Vince dedicates himself to leadership roles within the LGBT+ community. From his award-winning advocacy work at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee to his role as Director of Education & Outreach for Milwaukee Pride, where his dedication to representation and understanding was recognized with the Advocate of the Year award by the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce.

Expanding Horizons reflects Vince’s core values of empowerment and inclusivity. Through these innovative exhibits, Vince aims to connect individuals with their past, celebrate their identities, and expand horizons for all.
