Meet Vince Tripi
Educator, speaker, and creator of Expanding Horizons
Vince Tripi, III
I am a passionate advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, dedicated to sharing its rich history and fostering a sense of belonging. My journey to founding Expanding Horizons began with a powerful lesson: learning shapes identity and empowers individuals.
Previously recognized as a Top 25 Emerging Training Leader, I translate my passion for meaningful learning into engaging presentations and exhibits for a variety of audiences. I continue to leverage my instructional design expertise to craft exhibits that spark curiosity, celebrate diversity, and inspire pride in LGBTQ+ heritage.
Fueled by my belief in inclusivity, I dedicate myself to leadership roles within the LGBTQ+ community. From my award-winning advocacy work at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee to my role as Director of Education & Outreach for Milwaukee Pride, where my dedication to representation and understanding was recognized with the Advocate of the Year award by the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce.
Expanding Horizons reflects my core values of empowerment and inclusivity. Through the exhibits I research, write, and design, I aim to connect individuals with their past, celebrate their identities, and expand horizons for all.
