Pride & Prejudice + Pages in Someone Else’s Survival Guide
Concept
Personal narratives are powerful tools for building empathy, solidarity, and resilience. This dual installation transforms individual stories into a shared, living archive—while inviting participants to contribute guidance for others navigating similar challenges.
-
Part 1: Pride & Prejudice
Curated personal stories are displayed as posters
Participants respond using colored sticker dots representing different emotions
Multiple reactions can be layered, reflecting complex responses
Part 2: Pages in Someone Else’s Survival Guide
Participants take a notecard
They write a reflection, affirmation, memory, or piece of advice
Cards are displayed publicly, becoming part of the installation
-
Participants move from reading → reacting → contributing.
They see their own experiences reflected in others, then leave something behind for someone else. The result is a deeply human exchange: stories that are not just told, but felt, answered, and extended forward.
